Journal #12

So here it is. I wasn't sure if we needed 11 0r 12 days but, here is #12 if it's needed. This is a picture of the bane of my existence. That is up until yesterday. This is a carburetor off of a 20 year old weed eater. I have been working on it in class for a while trying to get it to run, but I did it. First weed eater I have ever fixed and it runs really quite well now

Day #10 and #11

Day #11. Today is our makeshift laundry day. We normally do our laundry on the weekends, but we do what we have too. I'm just I don't have to wash them by hand.
Day#10. It's good to be home from the family reunion. This is the front of our house. I do enjoy coming home after a long weekend away.

Day #8 and #9

So I know this picture seems cliched, but being here in Boise at a family reunion I feel that this kind of fits the mood. This is day #9So, this may seem like kind of a dumb thing to matter in my life but, it really does. This is a fan that my wife and I use to create white noise while we are on trips. If it weren't for this, sleep may never come. It is the little things that really matter the most. Day #8

Day #7

Well here it is. Day #7. I know this may seem a little bit of a weird picture, but when I was growing up we lived across from the train tracks near the grain elevators in a small town. What I remember from that a lot of times is late summer summer evenings. The train would roll through and when you are little it's pretty cool. I really liked to hear that. When I do hear it, it reminds me of home.

Journal #6

Here is my day #6. It is a simple picture, but I am happy about it. This reminds me of growing up on the family farm. I love spring and green pastures. Just wonderful that there is finally a sunny day and green everywhere.

Days #4 and #5

So This is day 5. My wife is home and I can't think of anything that I would rather have right now then her home with me.I thought that this would be good to represent day #4 because this is (at least the 12th was, I didn't want to post on Sunday) is a picture of our guest book from our wedding day. We keep it out where we can reflect on it. I bring it into picture form because it was the 7th anniversary of the day my wife and I met. A lot of good things can come from one day.

Day's #2 & #3

This is Day #2. t may not seem like much, but a hat for me is heritage. I grew up wearing old beat-up ones on the farm and they kind of stuck with me. Plus who doesn't like a good had?
My Day #3 (sorry, I ran out of steam to post this yesterday) was something that is really quite special to me. This is my pup Lou. She is a Border Collie and a little over 14 weeks old and is the one who welcomes me home right now. She is always so happy to see me, I love her. She's great.

Day #1 of Photo Journal

So, here is my day one. It's my bed. It means a lot to me, but I am at odds with it right now. My wife has been gone on a trip and it feels so big. I haven't slept well since Friday night and am currently working off of 3 1/2 hours of sleep. I guess what I'm trying to say with this is I miss my wife. The light is blown out on purpose to make it feel overwhelming right there with my bed. Almost like you can;t even get near it right now.
